What it is

Drown is a two-knob doom fuzz.

Feed it a guitar or a bass and it turns a single held note into something crushing: a wall of fuzz with an octave-below sub under it, blooming into a bottomless drone. It is the sound of a big classic fuzz stacked into another fuzz, into a wall of amps, in one plugin.

It is built for slow, held playing, not fast riffing. Give it a low note and it drops the ground out from under it. Weight, not speed.

The two knobs

You set two things: how heavy, and how deep.

Murk — the weight

Everyday doom to a crushing wall. Brings up the fuzz, the octave-below sub, and the tightness together. Dirty from the first hair of the knob, never clean.

Depth — the drown

A dark room to a bottomless drone. Turn it up and the note blooms into a cavern and hangs there, under you.

MIX blends the finished tone against your dry signal, full for an insert or pulled back on a bus. FREEZE catches the current drone and holds it forever, an endless bed to play over.
