Free lo-fi plugin

Memory Station '03

Pick a mood and everything you run through it stops sounding like a recording and starts sounding like a memory: tape haze, static, chorus, a lowpass fog and a slowed float. The mood faces are the presets, so there is nothing to build. Put it on guitar, keys, a vocal or a whole beat.

Cafecito, a free studio companion plugin

Free studio companion

Cafecito

A tiny café that sits on a track in your DAW. A per-track Pomodoro timer, a running count of time worked, a coffee log, notes, to-dos, a kanban board, a chromatic tuner and an interactive circle of fifths. It passes audio through untouched, so it can live on any channel.

Questions

01 — 04
01 Are these really free?

Yes. No time limit, no watermark, no noise bursts, no feature lock. Checkout asks for an email only so the download link has somewhere to go.

02 What formats, and what will they run on?

VST3, AU and Standalone. macOS 10.13 and up as a universal binary, so Apple Silicon and Intel both run natively. Windows 10 and up, 64-bit. Linux on x86_64 (VST3 and Standalone).

03 Do I need an iLok or an account?

No. No iLok, no account, no license manager, no online activation. Install it and it works.

04 Can I use them on music I sell?

Yes. Anything you make with them is yours. No royalties, no credit required. If you like how they sound, the paid machines are built the same way: pick a mood, play.
